| Creating Jobs in Mesa |
| The City of Mesa is an economically diverse area with
manufacturers, banks and financial institutions, service
industries, and countless small businesses. The simple
fact is that these companies provide jobs in our area
and we must do everything we can to support them. Our
City Council must strive to provide a business-friendly
environment to encourage other job providers to relocate
to our community. |
| As a small-business owner, I know firsthand what overregulation
and high taxes do to depress job creation. Money that
could be spent on hiring new people or rewarding performance
with raises is instead going to the government. |
| The surest way to stimulate our economy is to allow
workers to keep more of their earnings. Individuals know
how to spend their money better than the government. We
can encourage economic expansion by providing tax relief
and removing and restricting burdensome regulations that
hold back families and employers’ ability to prosper
and grow. |
