| Strengthening Education |
| I firmly believe a strong education system is the foundation
for a strong economy. Without an educated work force,
our city and our state will run the risk of losing jobs
to other communities. |
Schools succeed when parents, teachers and local school
administrators are given the resources and the options
to perform their jobs. As such, I am a strong advocate
for keeping control of our schools in the hand of local
parents and teachers. Our neighborhood school cannot and
should not be run from Washington D.C. I’ll be a
strong advocate for local teachers, local schools and
local parents.
