 Now
that we have turned in our petitions and they have been
accepted by the City of Mesa the real campaign can begin!
I want to take a minute and thank those who help
me gather the necessary signatures. We gathered almost
two times the required amount of signatures to get
on the ballot. This shows that there is wide spread
support for our message throughout District 1.
I have really enjoyed knocking on doors
and talking with citizens of Mesa and as I continue
to do so I am certain that we will continue to have
the same great experiences that I have had to date. |
| The message of CHANGE has hit a cord. |
- The voters want someone who will take a stand and
put in place a policy that will allow Mesa’s
Police Officers to question a person’s legal
status and turn those without a legal reason to be
in the country over to federal authorities.
- The voters want a candidate who will put Police
and Fire first and fund those as Priority #1 and not
somewhere down the line.
- The voters want a candidate who will leave money
for repairing and maintaining the city’s infrastructure
in the budget and not spend that money on someone’s
pet projects.
- People want a candidate without ties to the City.
Voters say “If you have ties, you have a conflict
of interest”.
- Voters want to see real change; they want a candidate
who is going to ask questions and make decisions that
are best for citizen and not government bureaucracy.
- Voters want a candidate who understands that if
we, as citizens have to tighten our belts when we
have overspent, then government must do the same.
- Voters want a candidate who is going to say NO
to a primary property tax.

to make a change in Mesa. I need you to talk with your
friends and family members. I need your donations. We
must pay for yards sign and mailers. |

amount of donation per individual is $390 and $780 is
the maximum for a couple. |
